Luvs diaper commercial turns off customers

I hesitate to say anything about this new Luvs diaper commercial much less repeat the ad because I am sure Luvs wanted their diaper commercial and its “wild” factor to get as much press as possible. The commercial shows toddlers on a contest to see who could fill their diapers the biggest with the winner delivering something bigger than himself. Commercials like this may get attention, but do they get customers? To me, they do not. If consumers watch an ad they see in bad taste then they will associate the Luvs logo with negative feelings. This is why I think the commercial will not work.
